Vipassana Meditation Centers in Asia Outside of India SHWEDAGON PAGODA-YANGON, MYANMAR
The first meditation centers in this tradition established outside of Myanmar were in India. As the technique has flourished and spread throughout India and the rest of the world, there are now numerous Centers elsewhere in Asia. These Centers offer the same 10 Day courses in many languages, including English and the regional native language where the Center is located. The Asian Centers are located at the locations set forth below. A current schedule of 10 Day courses is provided at each Center for which it is available.
